Note: This warranty applies to Electrolux new and factory refurbished products.
Your Electrolux cleaner is warranted to be free from all defects in material and workmanship in normal household use for a period of two years. The warranty is granted only to the original purchaser and members of his or her immediate household. The warranty is subject to the following provisions.
This warranty does not cover parts of the cleaner that require replacement under normal use, such as disposable dust bags, fans, filters, drive belts, light bulbs, brush roll bristles, impellers and cleaning. Any damages or malfunctions caused by negligence, abuse, or use not in accordance with the Owner’s Guide are not covered by this warranty. Likewise, any defects or damages caused by unauthorized service or the use of other than Genuine Electrolux parts is not covered.
Electrolux will, at its option, repair or replace a defective cleaner or cleaner part that is covered by this warranty. As a matter of warranty policy, Electrolux will not refund the consumer’s purchase price.

We purchased the vacuum about 3 years ago and haven't had one problem at all. The only things that would be nice to imporve is the storage for the crevice and brush tool on the handle, sometimes the can get knocked off the handle. The bad is a little on the small side when compared to the older Electrolux models. We use it for the carpet and hardwood floors and couldn't be happier with the proformace from it. We have four large dogs and two with very long hair (Husky & Malmute) that shed a lot and it will pick up the hair easily. I just can't say enough great things about this vacuum. One of the other posters said that they didn't like the self propelled was so fast, it isn't self propelled, that is just the brush moving it along the floor.

The power button is in the position that you hold the handle, so it often gets cut off while using.
The hard wood/tile attachment is only stuck on the end instead of it going to a certain place and clicking, and is often hard to get off when put on tight.
The way the cord retracts is awesome!!!

This vacuum has lost its belt several times and you have to constantly clean the power bar.The power head turns on and off as you push it.The repair store I took it to said these are all made by Eureka.I thought I was buying an Electrolux. I am dissapointed!

After trying many other vacuum brands I have come back to Electrolux. This thing could suck the stripes off a tiger. The power head, sometimes, goes where it wants instead of where I want. I actually vacuum more often because its so easy to use.

I had some reservation about purchasing a refurbished product, but considering the savings and that it still had a warranty I thought I would give it a try.
I am very happy with the purchase as the product looks new. It has great suction and is extremely quiet. We have a large dog (Newfoundland) that sheds and I use this on a daily basis. It works great and I would purchase again. The only con is the handle of the powerhead only turns 90 degrees to the right, but it is not that big of a deal once you get used to it.
