I never 'smell' the contents of vacuum cleaner...when I start up the vacuum after it has sat for a few days. Never have spillage of bag and like the sturdy cardboard tabs and design used to get bag on and off. I've got two cats with white hair, Florida mold, the nose of a bloodhound and allergies kept at bay with judicious use of air cleaners, allergy free pillow and mattress encasings, and these great s-bag clinic vaccumn cleaner bags.
