What is an Electrolux Certified Factory Refurbished vacuum?

An Electrolux Certified Factory Refurbished vacuum has been through a complete inspection by factory trained technicians at the Electrolux Manufacturing Center. Genuine factory replacement parts have been installed by the technicians as necessary. The refurbished vacuum is guaranteed to meet all original specifications and to perform as new. The vacuum has been sterilized and is not full of hair, dirt, etc. The vacuum may have slight imperfections in finish and appearance. Each refurbished vacuum comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. Total customer satisfaction is backed up by a full two year Electrolux warranty through a nationwide network of Electrolux Authorized Warranty Stations.

Where do refurbished vacuums come from?

Refurbished items are new vacuums that were returned by a customer to the place of purchase. The product has been used very little or not at all. These vacuums are sent to the Electrolux Manufacturing Center for inspection and any necessary repair to bring them to new vacuum factory specifications. The are subsequently sold as a refurbished product.

Who inspects and repairs the vacuums?

Vacuums are inspected and repaired (if necessary) at the Electrolux Manufacturing Center by factory trained technicians using genuine factory replacement parts.

Do I get a warranty on refurbished vacuums?

All refurbished vacuums have a full two year Electrolux repair warranty. Electrolux has established Electrolux Authorized Warranty Stations throughout the U.S. Warranty stations can be located by calling the toll free number: 1-800-896-9756 or on the web at www.electroluxusa.com.

What is a Certificate of Authenticity?

The Certified Factory Refurbished title is awarded only to those Electrolux refurbished vacuums which pass meticulous inspection. What is your Money Back Guarantee?

If, during the first 30 days following the receipt of the purchase, you wish to return any product in the exact condition that you received it (has not been used), a 100 percent refund will be given for the price you paid for the product. The customer is responsible for all shipping costs unless an incorrect product was shipped (see below).

What is your return policy?

CPO Electrolux is committed to making the returns process as easy as possible. To initiate a return, the customer must contact us by phone or e-mail to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. If the return is made within 30 days of receipt of the merchandise and the product has not been used, the returned merchandise will be eligible for our Money Back Guarantee (see above). All returned merchandise must be received within 10 days of issuing the RMA.

Please include the copy of your original invoice as well as the RMA number we provide so we can process your return as quickly as possible. The RMA number should be printed very clearly on the outside of the package used to send the returned merchandise back to us. The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs. We also recommend purchasing insurance for all returned merchandise. We cannot be responsible for loss or damage caused during return shipping.

Return Shipping Charges


If there is a problem with your order that was the fault of CPO Electrolux, we will take the necessary steps to make it right. We will be happy to reimburse the customer's UPS GROUND return shipping costs in the following situations, provided the customer includes proof of the charges paid:

  • The product received was not what was ordered
  • The product received was defective (and you have contacted us within 30 days of receipt)

In all other circumstances the customer is responsible for all shipping costs.

Under no circumstances will CPO Electrolux reimburse any expedited shipping charges for returned merchandise.

Can I check the status of my order?

After you purchase an item you will receive an order confirmation email that acknowledges we have received your order. When your package leaves our facility, you will receive another email to let you know that the order has shipped. You will be provided with a UPS tracking number to allow you to track your package.

About Order Cancellations

You may cancel an order by telephone only and as long as the order has not been transmitted to the warehouse for shipping. In most cases orders are transmitted to the warehouse within serveral hours of the order being placed.

Is my online transaction safe?

We guarantee that every online transaction you make will be 100% safe. This means you pay nothing if unauthorized charges are made to your card as a result of shopping at our online store. Under the Fair Credit Billing Act, your bank cannot hold you liable for more than $50.00 of fraudulent charges. If your bank does hold you liable for any of this $50.00, We will cover the entire liability for you, up to the full $50.00.
